Free & Unlimited QR Code Generator

Create unlimited QR codes with no registration required. Free to use, no hidden fees, and static codes that never expire. Generate and download instantly.

The honest version

Why this generator is free, and what the catch is

"Free" QR generators are often a trial in disguise: the code works for a few weeks, then the redirect behind it is switched off unless you subscribe. MultipleQR works differently, and the reason is technical rather than generous.

When you type a list, the QR images are drawn by JavaScript running in your browser. Our servers only deliver the web page; they do not create, store or serve your codes. A thousand codes cost us exactly as much as one, so there is nothing to meter and no reason to put a counter on it.

The site covers its hosting costs with advertising (Google AdSense) and measures traffic with Google Analytics, according to the choices you make in the cookie banner. That is the trade-off: you see ads on the page, and in exchange there is no account, no quota, no watermark and no subscription. The details are in our privacy policy.

The other side of that design is that MultipleQR is deliberately simple. There is no server-side account where codes, statistics or designs could live, so those features do not exist here. The next section spells out exactly where the line is.

Included, at no cost

What you get

  • ✓ One QR code per line: paste or type as many values as you need.
  • ✓ Import from a CSV or TXT file, with every cell or line becoming a code.
  • ✓ Static codes that never expire and never depend on this website.
  • ✓ A 300 × 300 pixel PNG for each value, downloadable one by one.
  • ✓ All codes in one ZIP (qrs.zip, files numbered qr-1.png, qr-2.png…).
  • ✓ A "Share as URL" link that reloads the same list on any device.
  • ✓ Works in the browser on desktop and mobile, with no install or sign-up.
  • ✓ No watermark, no attribution required, commercial use allowed.

What you do not get

  • ✕ Dynamic codes whose destination can be edited after printing.
  • ✕ Scan counts, locations, devices or any other scan analytics.
  • ✕ Logos, colors, rounded dots, frames or other custom designs.
  • ✕ SVG, PDF or EPS vector files, or a choice of pixel size.
  • ✕ Saved projects, accounts, team access or history of past batches.
  • ✕ Integrations or an API to connect with other software.
  • ✕ Special QR formats built for you, such as Wi-Fi or vCard forms (you can still type the raw text yourself).

Fair comparison

MultipleQR vs a typical paid dynamic QR service

Paid services differ from one another, so the right-hand column describes what is common rather than any specific company. Check the terms of the provider you are considering.

MultipleQR (static) Paid dynamic service
Price Free, no paid plan Monthly or yearly subscription; free tiers are usually limited
Account Not needed Required
Creating many codes at once Paste a list or upload CSV/TXT, no cap set by the site Available on some plans, often with quotas
What the code contains Your URL or text, directly A short link owned by the provider that redirects to your URL
Edit destination after printing No (reprint, or redirect on your own domain) Yes
Scan statistics No (use UTM tags and your own analytics) Yes, usually counts, time, device and rough location
Colors, logos, frames No, black and white only Usually yes
File formats PNG, 300 × 300 px (single or ZIP) Typically PNG plus vector formats such as SVG or PDF
If you stop paying / the service closes Codes keep working, nothing to renew Depends on the provider; redirects may stop working
Who sees each scan Only the destination you encoded The provider’s redirect server, then your destination

A paid dynamic service makes sense when…

  • the codes go on long-lived print (packaging, signage, vehicles) and the link may change;
  • you need to report scan numbers per code or per location to a client or manager;
  • brand guidelines require colors, a logo or a frame around the code;
  • a printer or designer asks for vector files for very large formats;
  • several people need to manage the same set of codes over time.

MultipleQR is the better fit when…

  • you need many codes quickly: IDs, serial numbers, SKUs, tickets or seat numbers;
  • the destination is stable, or it is a page on a domain you control;
  • you do not want the codes to depend on a subscription you must keep paying;
  • you prefer that no third party sits between the scan and your content;
  • standard black-and-white codes are all the design you need.

A useful middle path: encode a URL on your own website, such as yourdomain.com/go/menu, and set it up as a redirect in your site or hosting settings. The printed code stays static and free, but you can change where it leads at any time without paying a QR provider. Myths vs facts

Three things people assume about free QR codes

“Free codes expire.”

Static codes cannot expire: there is no server behind them to switch off. What expires are free trials of dynamic services, where the printed code points to the provider’s redirect.

“Free codes scan worse.”

QR is an open international standard. A static black-and-white code from any generator follows the same rules; what affects scanning is print size, contrast, margin and how long the content is.

“If it’s free, my data is the product.”

The site is funded by ads, which is why you see them. The values you type are used to draw the codes in your browser and are not sent to MultipleQR to generate or download them.

Getting the most from it

Free tool, professional results

01

Get the content right first

Because a static code cannot be edited, double-check spelling and include https:// on every link. Open a few of the links in your browser before generating.

02

Test before you print in bulk

Print one sheet at the size you plan to use and scan it with two different phones. Only then send the whole batch to the printer.

03

Keep the source list

Save your spreadsheet or the "Share as URL" link. With it you can regenerate identical files at any time, since nothing is stored on our side.

Common questions

Free unlimited QR generator — FAQ

If it is free, how does MultipleQR pay for itself?

Through advertising. The site shows Google AdSense ads and uses Google Analytics to understand traffic, both subject to the cookie choices you make in the consent banner. Because the QR codes are created by your own browser, there is no per-code server cost to recover, which is what makes a free, uncapped tool sustainable.

Will my QR codes stop working if MultipleQR shuts down?

No. The codes are static: your URL or text is written directly into the image, and scanning never contacts MultipleQR. As long as the destination (for example your website) exists, a code you downloaded keeps working, whatever happens to this site.

Can I change where a code points after I have printed it?

Not with MultipleQR. A static code always contains exactly what you typed. If you expect the destination to change, either use a dynamic QR service, or point the code at a URL on your own domain that you can redirect later from your website settings.

Can I see how many times my codes were scanned?

MultipleQR has no scan tracking. If your code opens a web page, you can still measure visits by adding UTM parameters to the URL (for example ?utm_source=flyer&utm_medium=qr) and reading them in your own analytics tool.

Can I add a logo or change the colors for free?

No, and not for a fee either: MultipleQR does not offer logos, colors or design options at all. Every code is a standard black-and-white 300 × 300 pixel PNG. If branding is a requirement, a design-focused generator or a paid service is the right tool.

Can I use the codes commercially, on products I sell?

Yes. The codes you generate contain your own data, and there is no watermark, attribution line or license fee attached to the images. Check our terms page for the general conditions of using the site.

Is "unlimited" really unlimited?

MultipleQR does not impose a quota per list, per day or per account (there are no accounts). The only real limit is your device: a very long list takes longer to render and uses more memory. If your browser slows down, split the list into batches.
