Business QR Code Generator | Bulk QR Codes for Companies
Create hundreds of QR codes for your business needs. Ideal for employee badges, product catalogs, event tickets, and marketing campaigns.
Department by department
Where a company actually needs dozens of QR codes
One QR code is easy to make anywhere. The hard part in a business is the list: a code for every laptop, every employee, every table or every branch. That is the job MultipleQR is built for. Paste the list, get one PNG per line, print.
IT and facilities
Tag laptops, monitors, projectors and furniture with their asset ID. Staff report a problem by scanning the tag; technicians find the record without typing a serial number.
Human resources
Add a code with the employee number to each badge template during onboarding. Visitor passes for a training day can be generated from the same attendee list you already have.
Finance and billing
Print a code on paper invoices or receipts that opens the online copy or payment page, so customers do not have to type a long reference number.
Front of house
Restaurants, clinics and hotels use one menu or check-in link per table or room, plus a guest Wi-Fi code at the entrance. Changes to the menu page never require reprinting.
Customer experience
Give each branch its own review link on counter cards and receipts, so feedback lands on the right location instead of the head office profile.
Operations and safety
Stick a code on each machine or chemical cabinet that opens its manual, maintenance log form or safety data sheet, right where the worker needs it.

What to paste for each workflow
Every line becomes one QR code. A line can be a plain ID, a full URL or a structured string like the Wi-Fi format. The examples below use example.com placeholders; swap in your own domains and IDs. Plain text shows up as text when scanned with a phone, and is typed into the active field by a handheld scanner.

If you upload a CSV, every non-empty cell becomes a code, so strip other columns and the header first. Print guidance
Labels, badges and signs that scan the first time
Each code downloads as a 300 × 300 px black-on-white PNG. That is plenty for badges, labels and letter-size signs. For larger signage, enlarge it in your design tool with smoothing turned off so the square modules stay sharp.
Size for how people scan
A badge or asset tag scanned from a hand's length can be small, around 2 cm (0.8 in) wide. A sign on a wall read from a few meters away needs to be much larger. As a rough guide, allow about 1 cm of code width for every 10 cm of scanning distance.
Pick a material that survives
Asset tags on laptops, tools and furniture get rubbed and cleaned. Use durable polyester or laminated labels, and matte finishes for anything under strong lights, since glossy surfaces reflect and confuse cameras.
Use the numbering to merge
The ZIP names files qr-1.png, qr-2.png and so on in the order of your list. Add a column with those file names next to your data and your label or badge software can place the right code next to the right name.
Keep the white border clear
Each PNG already includes the standard four-module white quiet zone. Do not crop it, do not let text or lines overlap it, and never print the code on top of logos or a busy background.
Test one before printing hundreds
Print a single sheet, scan a few codes with a phone and with your handheld scanner, and compare the result with your spreadsheet row. Fixing a typo now costs one sheet, not a roll of labels.
Think about who can read it
Anyone with a phone can scan a printed code. Encode IDs and links to pages that require login rather than personal or confidential details.
Exact sizes by distance are covered in our QR code size guide. If you print codes that customers will scan in public places, read QR code security best practices to reduce the risk of someone covering them with a fake sticker.
Workflow
From a system export to printed labels
01
Export one column
From your asset register, HR system or POS, export the IDs or URLs you want to encode. Keep the spreadsheet open: its row order is the order of your files.
02
Paste and check the preview
Paste the column into the box above. The preview shows every code with its value above it. Blank lines are skipped, so delete empty rows in the sheet to keep the file numbers aligned with your rows.
03
Merge into your template
Download the ZIP and link qr-1.png, qr-2.png… to your label sheet, badge layout or menu card. Print one test page, scan it, then run the batch.

Common questions
Business QR code generator — FAQ
Can our handheld barcode scanners read these QR codes for asset tags?
Most 2D imagers (the scanners that read QR codes, not only 1D barcodes) type the decoded text into whatever field has focus, just like a keyboard. If you encode a plain asset ID such as IT-000123, the scanner enters that ID into your asset or inventory system. Check that your model supports QR before ordering labels.
What should we put on an employee badge QR code?
Keep it minimal: an employee number or a link to an internal profile page that requires login. A static QR code can be read by anyone with a phone, so do not encode home addresses, personal phone numbers or anything you would not print on the badge in plain text. MultipleQR does not verify identities or control door access; that remains the job of your access system.
Can a QR code on an invoice or receipt link to the online copy?
Yes, if your billing or POS system gives each document a stable URL, for example a customer portal link or a payment page. Paste those URLs one per line and add the codes to your document template. Legally required invoice QR codes, such as Spain's VeriFactu, have a fixed format produced by certified invoicing software, so generate those from that software instead.
How do I make a Wi-Fi QR code for our guest network?
Enter a line in the standard Wi-Fi format: WIFI:T:WPA;S:NetworkName;P:Password;; and replace the network name and password. Current iPhone and Android cameras offer to join the network when scanned. Use this only for a guest network whose password you are comfortable displaying on a wall.
We have several branches. Can each one get its own review link?
Yes. Each location on Google has its own review link, which you can copy from the Google Business Profile of that branch. Put one link per line, generate the batch, and the ZIP numbers the codes in the same order as your list of branches, so the Monterrey table tent never ends up in Bogotá.
What happens when an employee leaves or an asset is retired?
Nothing changes in the printed code: static QR codes cannot be switched off. If the code holds an ID, retire that ID in your own system. If it holds a URL on your intranet or website, remove or redirect the page. That is why URLs you control are safer than links to third-party services that might change.
Our CSV export has many columns. Which one becomes the QR code?
All of them. When you upload a CSV, MultipleQR turns every non-empty cell into its own QR code, including header cells. Before uploading, keep only the column you want to encode and delete the header row, or simply copy that column from the spreadsheet and paste it into the text box.
Is internal company data sent to MultipleQR?
No. Codes are generated in your browser and nothing is stored on a server. The one exception is the Share button, which builds a link that contains your list inside the URL. Do not use Share for lists of badge numbers, internal URLs or Wi-Fi passwords unless everyone who receives the link is allowed to see them.
